Senior🎓
Top SchoolWei Chia is a Software Engineer II based in Singapore with a decade of hands-on experience building chatbots, web and mobile apps used by hundreds of users. At GovTech he progressed from Associate to Software Engineer II, while earlier roles at Jaga-Me and as a co-founder honed his backend, full-stack and system-architecture skills including serverless APIs, CI/CD and performance tuning. He has shipped consumer-focused civic apps (SG Hawker Centre, SG Supermarket, SG TV Guide) and driven measurable improvements like faster user search and optimized Postgres queries. A self-taught builder turned formal CS graduate, he pairs practical product instincts with a disciplined engineering approach and a history of introducing testing, documentation and staging practices. Not obvious from a short bio: he also taught programming to kids and has roots in information security, bringing a blend of pedagogy and security-mindedness to engineering teams.
