Senior🎓
Top SchoolWei-jie Yu is a pragmatic back-end developer with a decade of software experience and five years focused on web application development, currently building services at 104 Corporation. He brings strong PHP/Laravel and Node.js expertise, solid database design and performance tuning with MySQL, and hands-on cloud deployment experience across AWS, GCP and VPS environments. At AsiaYo he helped scale inventory integration to millions of listings and expanded geographic coverage to 30+ countries, while championing testing, API documentation and developer tooling. He pairs production engineering (jobs, schedulers, API integrations) with a habit of teaching—mentoring new hires and running regular internal sessions on AI-assisted development. A builder at heart, he has taken projects from 0 to 1 (custom e-commerce, classroom tools) and automates operational pain points with lightweight Python utilities. Based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, he combines practical craftsmanship with a curiosity for AI tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate team productivity.
