Top SchoolWei-ju Wu is a Seattle-based software engineer and founder with over 25 years of experience building cloud-native systems and regulated healthcare software that have powered FDA‑approved diagnostics and world‑scale biological analyses. He combines deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Kubernetes), full‑stack development (Python, R, JavaScript), and machine learning with practical experience navigating regulatory compliance and legacy modernization. His work has cut research turnaround times by 90%, processed terabytes of genomics data, and supported clinical studies involving thousands of patients, reflecting a rare ability to translate complex scientific needs into production-ready, secure systems. Comfortable mentoring teams and explaining technical tradeoffs to non‑technical stakeholders, he also creates niche educational content and contributes to open-source scientific tooling. Notably, he pairs startup agility—building serverless MVPs and mobile apps—with enterprise rigor from decades coordinating cross‑continental clinical software projects.
