white kong
Summary
👤
SeniorWei Kong is a Senior Software Engineering Manager based in the San Francisco Bay Area with eight years of hands-on experience building and scaling full-stack, cloud-native products. He has led distributed engineering teams to deliver award-winning, AI-powered products—most notably Atlas, which generated over $1.5M ARR in its first year—while improving DORA metrics and retention through deliberate coaching and process redesign. Strong in architecture and cross-functional leadership, he has driven global IAM modernization and multi-team initiatives that secured enterprise customers and accelerated delivery. Colleagues describe him as a positive, empathetic leader who raises technical talent into senior roles and sustains high morale under pressure. He blends practical engineering craft (React, Java, microservices, AWS) with strategic product insight, often participating directly in discovery and C-suite discussions. Outside of work, his Github bio cheekily reads “good luck,” hinting at a pragmatic, low-ego approach to problem solving.
