Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolWei-meng Lee is a pragmatic technology leader with 13 years’ experience scaling product-led teams and support operations across APAC, now Senior Manager of Support Engineering at GitLab in Singapore. He combines hands-on backend development (notably contributions to the GitLab CE codebase improving notifications and autocomplete) with product and data-driven process design to reduce support load and improve customer experience. At GitLab he grew APAC support from 10 to 34 people, managed multi-country teams and handled technical escalations for large accounts, while earlier roles span product management, founding startups and hands-on full‑stack engineering. He has a proven knack for turning operational pain points into automated systems and actionable analytics, often implementing quick prototypes and custom tooling himself. That blend of engineering, product intuition and customer empathy lets him bridge engineering and business priorities to ship measurable outcomes.
