Summary
👤
SeniorWei-ming Lin is a Machine Learning Engineer with eight years of experience building production AI systems across precision medicine, AIoT, and security monitoring from New Taipei, Taiwan. He has implemented research papers into deployable products, led multicultural teams in the U.S. and Asia, and repeatedly translated cutting-edge models into practical features like OCR translation, meeting summarization, and intelligent assistants. His background spans edge and cloud deployments—real-time gaze and plate detection, posture monitoring, and ROS-based robotics—demonstrating both low-latency engineering and scalable cloud integrations. Wei-ming also tunes large language models for business workflows, powering search chatbots and automated email/report generation that materially improve efficiency. A frequent AI competition participant with multiple awards, he brings a research-driven curiosity combined with hands-on MLOps and documentation practices. Notably, his work often bridges modalities (vision, language, robotics) to solve domain-specific challenges rather than just building generic models.
