Top SchoolWeiqi Yao is an experienced System Administrator based in Greater Boston with eight years of hands-on experience managing servers, virtualization, and network infrastructure. Currently at Screened Images, Inc., he brings a strong Cisco lab background from Cisco where he deployed and troubleshot ESXi/vCenter environments, Catalyst/Nexus switching, UCS and mobile gateway devices while automating repetitive tasks with Python and Bash. His work spans Linux system administration, firmware and IOS/NX‑OS upgrades, RAID and management controller upkeep, and automated DHCP/DNS and AD/NIS integrations. A Northeastern M.S. in Telecommunication System Management complements a BASc in Applied Physics, reflecting both operational rigor and systems-level thinking. He pairs practical lab-level engineering with automation that scales across many servers—an often underappreciated combination that keeps complex infrastructures reliable.
