Top SchoolWeixuan Sun is a software engineer in Seattle with eight years of experience building low-level graphics and accelerator software, currently developing user‑mode DirectX GPU driver submodules at VeriSilicon. He blends systems-level C/C++ driver work with hardware debugging across CModel, FPGA, and silicon platforms, informed by an M.Eng from Cornell and a B.S. from the University of Washington. Previously he designed an FPGA CNN accelerator using HLS in Cornell's Computer Systems Lab, giving him a practical edge in hardware-software co-design. An active open-source contributor, he has improved code quality in the widely used Spring Boot project, demonstrating attention to maintainability and robustness even in large Java frameworks. Colleagues describe him as a detail-oriented engineer who surfaces subtle correctness and resource-management fixes that prevent future issues.
