Summary
👤
SeniorWellington Dos Santos is a Staff Software Engineer based in Amsterdam with a decade of hands-on experience specializing in quality engineering, test automation, and shifting quality left across large-scale product teams. He has progressed from developer-focused automation roles to leading multiple QE teams at ServiceNow, driving migrations of legacy test frameworks and maintaining suites of 25k+ automated tests. Wellington blends technical craftsmanship (mobile and native tooling like Espresso/XCUITest, Ruby tooling, CI automation) with product-minded collaboration—pairing with product owners and developers to turn acceptance criteria into living documentation. Known for pragmatic POCs and mentoring, he repeatedly elevates team practice and reliability (recognized with consecutive UTG awards), and he often treats tests as production-quality code rather than an afterthought. An uncommonly broad background across startups and enterprise products gives him a knack for translating messy real-world requirements into durable, automatable workflows.
