Top SchoolWendy Abrantes is a senior iOS engineer based in London with 10 years’ experience building and leading mobile projects for clients including Monzo, Santander, BBC, Universal Music Group and OVO Energy. She combines deep platform expertise (Swift/Objective-C, UIKit, CoreData, Instruments) with proven delivery processes across the full iOS lifecycle from project setup to App Store distribution and CI-driven ad hoc/TestFlight flows. A repeat contractor and technical lead, she has co-founded multiple startups (Zenit App, Kaizen, SeedStory) and led teams through migrations such as Swift 3 upgrades and TVOS builds. Her portfolio includes socially impactful personal apps—HunkyDory for adolescent resilience and GetAcross for refugee communication—showing a bent toward product work with measurable social outcomes. Comfortable across design tools (Sketch, PaintCode) and engineering practices (Gitflow, CocoaPods, automated testing), she bridges product, design and infrastructure to ship polished user experiences. Colleagues value her mix of hands-on coding, technical leadership and entrepreneurial instinct.
