Top SchoolWenjie Chen is an associate professor at East China Normal University with over 19 years of R&D experience bridging telecommunications, embedded systems and EDA, and a decade of academic experience focused on IoT and Internet-of-Vehicles (IoV). He combines deep research in software/hardware co-design, smart hardware and wireless sensor networks with hands-on industrial project leadership—having driven IoT/IoV initiatives for Intel, IBM and regional MIIT-backed programs. As Deputy CTO at the Chinese Academy of IoT Industry Development and a long-time member of CCF, ACM and IEEE, he brings both technical authority and industry-oriented program delivery to academic research. His background in logical IC tool design at Synopsys and low-level driver and OS work during industry internships gives him uncommon expertise across the stack from silicon-aware software to vehicle telematics. Based in Shanghai, he is known for turning foundational research into deployed systems and standards, including contributions to national telecom testing specifications.
