Top SchoolWenqi Huang is a versatile software engineer with eight years of experience building production systems across robotics, cloud infrastructure, and AI. He’s shipped full-stack features at Tesla and rebuilt safety-critical robot software in Rust at Trexo, while contributing to embodied agent research at NVIDIA and retrieval work at OpenAI. Comfortable across React, Go, Python, C++, TypeScript and Rust, he combines systems-level rigor with product-facing UX—evidenced by a popular game server project with 40K+ downloads and an AWS-backed robot dashboard. A former VEX World Champion and robotics team captain, he pairs control-theory expertise with practical simulation and testing tools. Now based in the Bay Area, he’s focused on advancing LLM coding capabilities and scalable retrieval systems while still finding time to fly FPV drones and climb.
