Senior🎓
Top SchoolWesley Cintra is a seasoned tech manager with 13 years in software, currently leading performance, scalability and reliability initiatives at Shopee while also co-running an edtech startup that gamifies legal exam preparation. He has a proven record building and scaling integration platforms and checkout systems at major Latin American e-commerce players like Mercado Livre, Nuvemshop and Magazine Luiza, often bridging product and engineering to deliver measurable business outcomes. Comfortable both as a hands-on Golang engineer and as a strategic manager, he focuses on developer testability, velocity and operational excellence across small to large projects. Wesley combines startup founder grit—having built an integration product later acquired by Mercado Livre—with enterprise leadership at Amazon and other large platforms. He holds an MBA and complementary business specializations, which inform his ability to align technical roadmaps with commercial goals. Based in São Paulo, he’s known for driving cross-functional collaboration and pragmatic technical decisions that reduce friction between teams and systems.
