Top SchoolWhitney Lampkin is a Senior Software Engineer with a decade of experience building cloud-native systems and developer-focused content, currently on the Azure Kubernetes Service team at Microsoft. She blends SRE rigor—defining customer-centric SLOs, conducting livesite and incident analyses—with hands-on engineering across Go, C#, JavaScript, React, and Kubernetes. Whitney has created interactive learning content for Microsoft Learn, giving her a rare combination of teaching-first clarity and production ops experience. She holds Microsoft certification and a formal CS background from Oregon State, after starting in chemistry, which speaks to a disciplined, analytical approach to problem solving. A regular interviewer and mentor, she also champions better documentation and onboarding to raise team reliability. Outside of work she describes herself simply as someone who "writes code," reflecting a practical, no-frills commitment to craft.
