Top SchoolWill Bertelsen is a Principal Engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable cloud infrastructure and developer productivity tools, currently leading efforts to scale eero’s cloud services. He brings deep, hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, service meshes, and platform engineering—plus a knack for debugging thorny production incidents, like when a cloud provider’s switch started flipping bits in database queries. Prior to his current role he spent eight years evolving eero’s cloud platform and earlier worked on high-volume data processing systems at Foursquare using Scala and Scalding. Based in San Francisco and educated at Carnegie Mellon, he combines pragmatic engineering with systems-level thinking to improve reliability and developer velocity. He’s equally comfortable writing libraries, tooling, or operational runbooks, and enjoys tackling infrastructure problems that reveal subtle failure modes.
