Top SchoolWill Powelson is a self-employed tutor and software practitioner based in the San Francisco Bay Area who blends a strong mathematics background with hands-on low-level hardware coding and backend application development. With a Bachelor's in Mathematics from UC Santa Cruz and three years of professional experience, he focuses on mathematically driven software problems—especially machine learning topics like neural networks and support vector machines. He tutors programming and mathematics regularly, translating complex theory into practical, teachable solutions for students and clients. Comfortable across hardware interfaces and general app stacks, he brings a pragmatic, systems-minded approach that helps bridge algorithmic research and deployable software. An inquisitive learner, he pairs academic rigor with real-world IT and development work, often tackling problems where numerical methods meet constrained hardware.
