Summary
👤
SeniorWill Rosecrans is a Senior Platform Engineer with 11 years of experience building and automating large-scale deployments for Verizon Digital Media Services' EdgeCast CDN, operating across tens of thousands of bare-metal Linux systems. He blends full-stack Linux expertise—from Bash and Python DevOps to C++, Go, and occasional kernel-level debugging of filesystem, memory allocation, and NUMA issues—to keep high-performance infrastructure reliable at scale. His background in VFX and pipeline tooling (MPC, freelance QuantumCut development) gives him a pragmatic edge in workflow automation, GPU-accelerated media processing, and integrating complex toolchains. Comfortable across application architecture and low-level systems, he excels at bridging developer workflows and production operations for performance-sensitive services.
