Will Skora
Web Administrator
Cleveland, Ohio, United States
Summary
🤩
RockstarWill Skora is a web administrator at Cleveland Public Library who combines hands-on development with civic-minded product stewardship to keep cpl.org fast, accessible, and consistent. He leads web standards, component development, and accessibility remediation, and has driven impactful infrastructure work—most notably a server migration that cut TTFB by a full second. Beyond the library, he co-founded and captains Open Cleveland, applying civic tech and community collaboration to improve local government services. Comfortable across semantic HTML, BEM CSS, vanilla JavaScript, PHP/OOP, and WordPress tooling, he also contributes to the Gutenberg project and maintains organization-specific GitHub work. Practical, community-focused, and detail-oriented, he balances technical operations, procurement advising, and staff training to sustain a large multi-site events ecosystem.
