Senior🎓
Top SchoolWilliam Bunselmeyer is a hands-on software engineering manager with 13 years of industry experience building and scaling developer platforms and customer-facing UIs across companies like Netflix, Docker, Meta, and Turbonomic. He favors "boring technology"—pragmatic, reliable tooling—to keep teams focused on shipping features rather than firefighting, and he empowers engineers with ownership and autonomy. A polyglot full-stack engineer by background, he moves comfortably from Java back ends to JavaScript front ends and has led work across CLIs, SDKs, design systems, and TV UI developer experience. His career includes founding and exiting a startup, integrating acquired platforms at Aconex/Oracle, and shepherding products through acquisitions, showing both entrepreneurial grit and enterprise delivery chops. Based in Scarsdale, NY, he blends systems-level rigor from an engineering early career (including aerospace test and mechanisms work) with modern web and platform leadership. Colleagues rely on him to translate complex infrastructure needs into practical, delighting customer outcomes.
