Top SchoolWilliam Cadenas is a Senior Software Engineer from Medellín with nine years building full-stack and back-end systems for startups and scale-ups, including YC-backed Treinta and MarcoPolo and enterprise teams at Globant. He specializes in JavaScript ecosystems—TypeScript, Node.js, React/React Native, Next.js—and has repeatedly delivered revenue-driving features like Treinta’s OmniERP integrations and POS improvements. William blends hands-on implementation of cloud-native patterns (AWS, SQS, EventBridge, PostgreSQL) with pragmatic architecture guided by SOLID principles, mentoring junior engineers along the way. He has a track record of product-impacting decisions—choosing payment methods covering 40% of platform payments, adding full-text search for better discovery, and shipping SEO strategies that topped Google in Colombia. Comfortable across fast-moving startups and structured teams, he pairs system-level thinking with the empathy to enable operations and non-engineering stakeholders.
