Top SchoolWilliam Falconer is a Lead Technical Architect with 11 years of hands-on experience designing and modernising cloud-native, microservice-driven systems for public sector and enterprise domains such as supply chain, energy trading, and e-commerce. At the Ministry of Justice he has guided teams through legacy-to-cloud transformations, reducing technical debt while raising security and resilience through threat modelling and architectural guardrails. Equally comfortable in code and cloud, his primary toolkit includes Kotlin, TypeScript, PostgreSQL/Oracle, AWS/Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform, informed by a background in DevOps, SCRUM leadership and platform engineering. He combines pragmatic domain-driven design with emergent design principles to deliver customer-focused, auditable solutions and clear Architectural Decision Records. Known for mentoring cross-functional teams and translating complex roadmaps into actionable high-level designs, he also has a history of shipping time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines. An analytical problem-solver, he blends operational experience (DR, CI/CD, incident RCA) with a strong track record of influencing technology choices across organisations.
