Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolWilliam Godfrey is a Senior Product Manager based in Cambridge with six years of experience blending technical support, customer-facing engineering, and product leadership in cloud, security, and infrastructure domains. He has progressed from hands-on roles supporting HSMs and encryption platforms at Thales to customer success architecture and product management at RKVST, SUSE, and now Qdrant, giving him a rare combination of deep technical empathy and product strategy skills. William excels at translating complex cryptographic and cloud-native tooling into user-focused solutions and has practical experience with containerisation, DevOps tooling and PKI-backed systems. Known for taking ownership across engineering, support and customer success, he brings credibility when aligning product roadmaps with real-world operational constraints. Based in the UK, he pairs an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Systems with vocational infrastructure training, which helps him bridge academic rigour and pragmatic delivery. Outside of obvious product responsibilities, his background in antiques management hints at patience, practical problem-solving and an attention to detail that surfaces in product decisions.
