Top SchoolWilliam Kelso is a computer engineering graduate and systems-level developer with 11 years of hands-on experience bridging hardware and software. He excels in firmware, compiler-adjacent work, and embedded C/C++ libraries, having led electrical design and firmware efforts for competitive autonomous underwater robots. As Electrical Team Lead for AquaPack Robotics he improved on-boarding, established an embedded style guide, and redesigned electronics hulls to increase fault tolerance and manufacturability. He combines technical rigor with curiosity in design and history, often drawing cross-disciplinary ideas to produce more elegant, usable systems. Based in Cary, NC, he balances industry work with customer-facing roles in hospitality that sharpen his communication and team leadership. An avid “oxford comma” advocate, he brings meticulousness and a preference for readable, debuggable code to every project.
