Senior🎓
Top SchoolWilliam May is a Senior Android Engineer with 12 years of professional experience and over a decade focused on mobile development across the diverse Android ecosystem. He has led high-impact projects—including a flagship app with 24 million downloads—and built systems that improved ad-serving latency by more than 50% while integrating 20+ ad networks. Comfortable both as an individual contributor and team lead, he has managed offshore teams, authored cross-platform technical specs, and formalized CI/CD and testing practices to keep crash rates at ~99% stability. William blends product-minded feature design (A/B testing, retention hooks like streaks and VIPs) with pragmatic engineering (asset optimization, Jetpack migrations, Unity plugins), and he enjoys solving platform fragmentation challenges through measurement-driven iterations. Based in Yonkers, NY, he holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and brings a knack for translating analytics into product improvements that move engagement and revenue.
