A University of Birmingham computer science graduate, he blends analytic rigour with a creative background as co‑founder and managing partner of a lighting and projection business, which informs his practical, user-focused approach to engineering. Self-directed and motivated, he stepped back from management to concentrate on hands-on engineering work and freelance visual projects, demonstrating a preference for craft over titles.
