Senior🎓
Top SchoolWillow Shelley is a Senior UX Designer based in Tokyo with over a decade of experience bridging design and engineering to shape large-scale web products. Currently at Indeed, she has progressed from Design Technologist to Senior UX Designer, combining Figma-led design, React/TypeScript prototypes, and user research to influence product strategy. Her background at Rakuten involved centralizing multi-country account systems, demonstrating strength in cross-functional coordination and scalable UI standardization. Early freelance and agency roles cultivated end-to-end ownership of design, development, and client communication. She’s equally comfortable shipping high-fidelity prototypes that validate product decisions and guiding teams to integrate design across complex product ecosystems. Notably, Willow’s career shows a rare blend of hands-on front-end implementation and strategic UX leadership across global platforms.
