Senior🎓
Top SchoolWilly Willy is a Head of Engineering with 11 years of experience building and leading high-performance, multicultural teams across Southeast Asia and globally, specializing in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and cloud-native architectures. He’s proven at crisis management and operational cost reduction—rebuilding orgs while cutting runtime costs 50%+, eliminating critical database bottlenecks, and driving API latency improvements of 60%. Willy combines hands-on systems work (from Bun runtime rewrites to Spanner migrations) with org design, having moved and stabilized teams between India and Indonesia while establishing documentation and operational excellence. His background spans fintech, e-commerce, and media streaming at companies like NOICE, Xendit, and Tokopedia, where he led regional banking integrations and reduced production incidents to near-zero. Comfortable across time zones, he thrives on cross-functional collaboration and mentoring future tech leads. Less obvious: he pairs deep performance tuning instincts with a track record of right-sizing engineering orgs to align technical reliability with business cost objectives.
