Technical Director at Tool of North America
Ghent Metropolitan Area Belgium
Summary
👤
SeniorWim Vanhenden is a Technical Director with 12 years of experience designing immersive interactive experiences that blend AR/VR, computer vision and AI with cloud-native, serverless architectures. He has led creative-technology studios (nøcomputer) and production teams, turning experimental interaction concepts into robust real-time systems for clients and products. Comfortable spanning art and engineering, Wim builds pipelines and tooling that enable rapid iteration from prototype to deployment. Based in Ghent, he combines a maker’s mentality from founding Little Miss Robot with senior leadership at Tool of North America, often applying computer vision techniques to tangible audience-facing experiences. Notably, his work is driven by a studio mindset—treating technical platforms as creative collaborators rather than just infrastructure.
