Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolWonil Kim is a seasoned cloud and enterprise architect with over two decades of software development experience and a Java background dating to 2003. Based in Seoul, he leads the Korean Air account at LG CNS, designing and delivering AWS-based enterprise systems including Kafka governance, multi-account landing zones, and secure network architectures. He pairs hands-on coding (Spring Boot, POJO, C#, middleware) with architecture-level responsibilities—drawing on large-scale projects from OTA firmware services for Samsung to complex cloud migrations and MSA renewals. Known for pragmatic operational guidance, he routinely bridges application, network, and security concerns (UTM, WAF, Transit Gateway) and mentors junior architects. A detail that often goes unnoticed: he’s repeatedly served as the on-call troubleshooter across domains, from cross-account X-Ray tracing to centralized log pipelines, making him as comfortable debugging production incidents as designing DX-ready enterprise blueprints.
