Woody Wang is Minister of Innovation Education at Tsinghua iCenter with 12 years’ experience designing large-scale maker and lifelong learning programs that blend VR/AR, human–machine interaction, and systems engineering. As director of the Design & Prototyping Lab and executive director of Tsinghua’s Lifelong Learning Lab, he bridges academic research, industry practice and playful learning—partnering with organizations like the LEGO Foundation to scale creativity across ages. He also serves as Secretary General of the Maker Education Base Alliance, steering collaborative maker networks and education policy initiatives in China. Trained in management science and industrial engineering at Tsinghua, Woody combines rigorous process management with hands-on HMI and industrial engineering work (including Audi MMI and aircraft manufacturing workflow redesign).
