Senior🎓
Top SchoolWout Slakhorst is an architect with 10 years of professional experience who has evolved from hands-on developer roles into strategic leadership at Nedap Ons®, currently shaping distributed systems and product architecture. His recent focus is on Self-Sovereign Identity, P2P networks and applied cryptography, reflecting a shift from product ownership to cutting-edge decentralized protocols. He has a pragmatic blend of research and industry experience dating back to Novay and early consulting roles, which informs his ability to translate academic concepts into production-ready solutions. Based in the Greater Enschede Area, he combines long-term stewardship of platform initiatives with a tendency to follow new technical interests—so his public profile is deliberately “always out-of-date.” Colleagues describe him as a creator of resilient distributed networks who balances architectural vision with hands-on problem solving.
