Top SchoolWouter Van Den Brink is an author and computer science educator in training, currently pursuing a master's in Science Education at the University of Twente while co-authoring and reviewing chapters for Fundament, an interactive online textbook for secondary-school CS. With eight years of experience that blend hands-on web development, educational content design, and small-business ownership, he builds practical learning tools and interactive exercises that make abstract CS concepts accessible. Based in Enschede, he brings a developer’s curiosity to pedagogy—combining code, UX-minded interactive elements, and classroom-aware explanations. He balances academic rigor from his Computer Science background with real-world product iteration learned as the owner of Dutch1. Outside work he experiments with personal web projects and cooking, often applying the same iterative, creative approach to both. This mix of instructional design and maker mentality helps him translate technical topics into engaging learning experiences.
