Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolWouter Van Marrum is a pragmatic back-end developer from Overijssel with about a decade in tech and seven years focused on professional software roles, specializing in PHP/Laravel, NextJS, Strapi and CI/CD automation. He has a track record of modernizing legacy APIs and systems—building extensive test suites and static analysis to push code coverage above 85–90%—and has driven DTAP pipelines and Scrum adoption across teams. At Datatrics and Kaartje2go he led API rewrites, mentored colleagues and interns, and consolidated customer support tooling into unified dashboards that improved operational workflows. Comfortable both writing production-grade back ends and integrating front-end frameworks like NextJS and Filament, he favors reliable, test-driven deployments. His background includes practical leadership outside pure engineering—conducting interviews, liaising with offshore teams, and translating support needs into technical solutions. Colleagues describe him as a hands-on mentor who turns messy legacy codebases into maintainable platforms.
