Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolWouter Van Ranst is a Principal Solution Architect based in Brussels with nine years of professional experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions, particularly on Azure. He blends hands-on .NET development and infrastructure leadership with strategic roadmap work, having led architecture and cross-functional teams at InvestSuite and Microsoft and currently steering platform and Azure infrastructure for AE. His background spans financial sector cloud best practices, large-scale migrations to Azure Cloud Native, and identity integrations (AAD B2C, Auth0), reflecting a knack for translating complex requirements into pragmatic platforms. Known for “drawing boxes and arrows” to clarify architecture, he pairs that clarity with a developer’s focus on making icons turn green—meaning he stays involved through delivery. He holds an engineering master’s from KU Leuven and an executive management degree from Vlerick, a combination that supports both technical depth and team leadership.
