Summary
🤩
RockstarXabi Azagirre is a data science leader with nearly a decade of experience building and scaling high-impact analytics and ML products, now driving data science at Anthropic from New York. He led multi-level teams at Lyft across marketplace, pricing, loyalty and partnerships, taking 0-to-1 research ideas into production, filing patents and delivering measurable topline and profit gains. Comfortable at the intersection of research and product, he has run incubators with post-doc collaborators, launched strategic partnerships (e.g., DoorDash integrations), and translated causal ML into operational pricing and supply solutions. His background in telecom engineering and hands-on project delivery gives him a rare blend of systems thinking and executional rigor, evidenced by cross-org growth from small teams to dozen-plus headcounts and industry recognition like the Franz Edelman award.
