Summary
🤩
RockstarXander Song is a product-oriented tech lead and open-source evangelist with 10 years of experience building developer-focused AI infrastructure in San Francisco. At Arize AI he led the creation and growth of Phoenix and OpenInference—projects that together amassed thousands of GitHub stars and millions of downloads—while transitioning from developer advocate to Tech Lead for Agents and OSS. He combines hands-on engineering (scalable pipelines, containerized builds, and experiment tracking) with developer relations to turn research-grade models into widely used tools. Earlier roles include shipping a no-code UI testing product that reached $700K ARR and enterprise customers, and ML research work that compressed models and improved real-world systems. Comfortable at the intersection of product, OSS, and machine learning, he brings a rare mix of math training, teaching experience, and startup execution to developer-centric AI platforms.
