Top SchoolXiang Li is a Senior Software Engineer based in Beijing with 9 years focused on large-scale data infrastructure and distributed systems. He has driven production integrations of Apache Iceberg and Flink at Tencent and now leads an intelligent Spark tuning system at Microsoft, bringing practical experience in streaming, OLAP ingestion, and runtime optimization. A long-time Apache contributor and former HBase committer, he has deep operational expertise—having built and managed 200-node Hadoop/HBase clusters on AWS and automated elastic resource management with Terraform and Yarn. Xiang blends hands-on cluster ops, performance tuning, and open-source collaboration, and is comfortable translating low-level system improvements into reliable, high-throughput production services. Uncommonly for an engineer at this level, his background spans QA leadership on IBM mainframes through to modern cloud-native big data platforms, giving him a broad view of reliability and deployability trade-offs.
