Senior🎓
Top SchoolXinyu Fu is a research engineer and PhD candidate in computer science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a decade of industry experience applying graph neural networks, heterogeneous graph modeling, and federated learning to real-world problems. Currently at Huawei Hong Kong Research Center, he brings prior applied-science experience from AWS—where he worked on drug repurposing using graph representation learning over biomedical knowledge graphs—and engineering roles at Tencent focused on big data and NLP. His work bridges rigorous academic research and production-driven solutions, translating advanced graph methods into scalable pipelines for industry use. Based in Hong Kong, Xinyu combines deep theoretical expertise with hands-on system building, often tackling cross-domain problems that require both model innovation and engineering pragmatism.
