Yanran Chen is a Senior Data Analyst at Shell with four years’ experience turning large downstream trading, supply and lubricant datasets into actionable insight across global, cross-cultural teams. She combines strong SQL and Alteryx expertise with Azure DevOps and agile product ownership to design end-to-end data products that align closely with business needs. Her background spans BI consultancy, ETL and data visualisation, and she’s comfortable coordinating onsite implementation and offshore delivery models. Trained in economics (University of Exeter) and financial analysis (MSc, merit), Yanran brings commercial intuition to technical solutions and a track record of driving high-profile “big data” projects within Shell’s trading & supply function. An accredited Scrum Master/Product Owner, she often bridges stakeholder engagement and technical delivery to accelerate measurable business value.
