Top SchoolYarek Tyshchenko is a Solutions Engineer based in London with 14 years of experience building high-traffic, distributed OLTP and OLAP systems, primarily in Scala. He combines deep backend architecture expertise with practical frontend, DevOps, and CI/CD skills—having shipped full-stack projects including a Scala/GraphQL backend and React/TypeScript frontends, plus a React Native app. At Affiliate Window he helped design a Kafka/Hadoop/Spark/Elasticsearch-powered distributed system and rebuilt a 40-container developer environment, demonstrating both systems-level thinking and a focus on developer experience. Comfortable operating across AWS, GCP, Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, Kubernetes and Helm, he thrives on turning complex architectures into reliable production services. Always curious, he’s expanding his functional programming knowledge beyond Scala while keeping a hands-on role in getting things shipped.
