Top SchoolYavor Milchev is a pragmatic engineering leader and co-founder/CTO with 11+ years building high-throughput eCommerce and FinTech systems, currently shipping a portfolio of successful Shopify apps at The Shop Doctors. He blends hands-on full‑stack development (PHP, Java, JavaScript/React/Vue) with cloud-native backend expertise—Java 8, Spring, AWS Lambda, and heavy use of MySQL, Redis and ElasticSearch—to support multi-million-dollar GMV and thousands-of-visitors-per-minute workloads. Past roles include driving quality-first backend platforms at Kasasa and scaling marketing systems that contributed to a nine-figure exit, showing a track record of shipping reliable, well-tested code in production. Comfortable across architectures from serverless to monoliths and experienced with Terraform, SQS/SNS, and third‑party integrations, he pairs TDD and SOLID practices with product-focused execution. Based in Boca Raton, he also retains hands-on SEO and growth engineering roots, which inform his product-led approach to app development and acquisition.
