Top SchoolYee Tso is a Principal Engineer based in Vancouver with 13 years of hands-on software experience and over 15 years of technology leadership across AI/ML, fintech, proptech and healthcare. He combines deep full-stack fluency—Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL and Linux—with product-focused architecture work, from payment platforms and serverless music discovery to LIMS integrations for regulated healthcare. At Banner Technologies he now leads integrations, data management, BI and observability, having previously rebuilt tech stacks as a fractional CTO for startups and led transformer-based ML teams. An active open-source contributor, Yee has made practical fixes and feature enhancements to established projects like MODX Revolution, reflecting a pragmatic approach to both legacy and modern systems. Unusually, his background spans professional acting and architectural photography, a creative thread that informs his user-centered engineering and communication skills.
