Top SchoolYeison Caicedo is a Technical Lead and full-stack software engineer with nine years of experience building performant NodeJS/Express and React/NextJS applications, and strong expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB on AWS. He has repeatedly improved production performance and reliability—examples include cutting endpoint latency from seconds to hundreds of milliseconds, designing frontend caching to eliminate multi-second requests, and raising backend test coverage from 0% to 83%. Yeison has led small engineering teams and co-founded a SaaS product that achieved hundreds of active users while architecting scalable APIs with sub-200ms queries under concurrency. Comfortable across frontend and backend stacks, he also brings hands-on experience with microfrontends, gRPC services, CI/CD and serverless patterns. Based in Bogotá, he pairs an Electronics & Telecommunications background with a practical, metrics-driven approach to shipping resilient systems.
