Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolYi T is a Senior Software Engineer with seven years' experience building developer platforms, telemetry systems, and reliability tooling for large-scale products across Meta, Microsoft, Arista, and Huawei. At Meta they led a multi-half migration of 8,000+ performance tests to a unified framework, cut delivery cadence in half, and implemented telemetry pruning that reduced storage overhead by 90%. Comfortable shipping backend systems and cross-team automation, Yi has a track record of turning fragmented pipelines into deterministic, version-locked workflows that save hundreds of device hours and dozens of engineer-hours daily. Now at Deliveroo, they continue to focus on platform enablement and operational efficiency while keeping an eye on developer experience. Outside of work they pair a pragmatic engineering mindset with a wry automation-first ethos—aiming to automate routine tasks away so they can think bigger. Based in London, Yi blends deep systems-level rigor with a collaborative, metrics-driven approach to release readiness and capacity planning.
