Top SchoolYi Zhang is a Ph.D. physicist and computational experimentalist based in Boston with eight years' experience modeling molecular interactions across soft matter, thin films, and solid oxide fuel cells. Their work blends lab-based soft matter experiments with numerical models to reveal structure-property relationships and high-pressure behavior of large molecules, with a practical eye toward everyday relevance. Yi also applies full‑stack development skills—demonstrated by building a React-based internship application site with data import/export, column resizing, and analytics—to make scientific tools and resources more accessible. Passionate about inclusive, engaging science communication, they focus on connecting fundamental particle- and molecular-scale insights to real-world problems.
