Senior🎓
Top SchoolYoann Couble is an R&D engineer and data scientist with nine years of experience building and operationalizing NLP, explainability and fairness-aware machine learning solutions from prototype to production. With a PhD in telecommunications and a background in networked systems and optimization, he blends rigorous research (simulation, combinatorial and linear optimization) with hands-on engineering of robust data pipelines, APIs and deployment tooling. He has applied these skills across startups and industry—designing NER and chatbot systems, OCR/object-detection pipelines, and model-explainability frameworks—while also contributing as an associate to mission-driven climate innovation. Comfortable moving between low-level system constraints and high-level ML work, he particularly focuses on making complex models reliable, auditable and fair in real-world settings.
