Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolYogesh Sharma is an experienced database and systems leader currently heading SDM for Amazon RDS Open Source Databases, bringing a decade-plus of hands-on expertise across enterprise and open-source data platforms. He combines deep DBA skills (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) with low-level C/C++ development, Linux systems mastery, networking know-how, and virtualization — a blend that helps him design resilient, high-performance database services. Prior roles leading solutions engineering and data architecture at Crunchy Data and senior engineering management at multiple firms demonstrate his ability to translate complex operational requirements into reliable, scalable offerings. Certified as an Oracle DBA and a self-described "Linux hacker," he pairs operational rigor with curiosity about system internals and tooling. Based in Florida, he’s known for bridging product, engineering, and customer needs on mission-critical database projects.
