Senior🎓
Top SchoolYu-chun Huang is a Staff R&D Engineer based in Hsinchu with 14 years building robust firmware and embedded systems for consumer electronics and NAS products. He combines deep C++ and Python expertise with hands-on Embedded Linux, BSP, ZFS and kernel networking experience gained at Synopsys, LatticeWork, QNAP and earlier roles. Notable contributions include designing high-performance NAS middleware, a custom REST/WebSocket web server, an IPC library with C/Python bindings, and a dynamic task executor that improved folder-listing performance by an order of magnitude. Comfortable across low-level kernel work and higher-level service design, he’s equally at home debugging hardware-adjacent issues and delivering production APIs. His background in university system administration and a CS MS from National Chiao Tung University gives him a pragmatic, reliability-first approach to complex systems engineering.
