Top SchoolYury Pikhtarev is a seasoned engineering leader with 11 years in software and 8+ years focused on e-commerce, moderation and CRM, currently heading Engineering for Upsell & Finance at Trevolution Group. He has a proven record of building and scaling high-load systems and teams—from creating moderation architectures and integrating ML for video/content analysis at OZON to leading e-commerce platforms and mobile products as CTO at Svyaznoy. Yury combines hands-on technical depth (PHP, distributed systems, performance tuning) with strong people and project management skills, having grown teams from scratch to 35 engineers with zero turnover. He excels at incident management, SLA-driven product delivery and aligning engineering work tightly with business goals. Based in Dubai, he pairs fast MVP delivery under tight deadlines with a steady focus on team development and operational resilience. A long history of freelance high-traffic projects and CRM work hints at a pragmatic, build-first mindset and comfort with both legacy systems and modern ML-infused tooling.
