Top SchoolYusuke Fukasawa is a machine learning engineer with a decade of experience building production ML systems across Cookpad, Recruit Technologies, and now Commune Inc., grounded in a Master’s from the University of Tokyo. He combines applied NLP and recommendation expertise—evidenced by published work on multi-label ingredient recommendation and multiple technical posts on Cookpad’s engineering blog—with hands-on experimentation in recommender models. Comfortable bridging research and product, he has led internship programs and operationalized models for consumer-facing services. Active in developer communities (GitHub, Qiita, Zenn), he documents practical insights and experiments, signaling a preference for reproducible, well-explained engineering. Colleagues can expect a pragmatic engineer who prioritizes clear communication and tends to respond faster to direct corporate contacts than unsolicited DMs.
